Dynamic Arts is a free program for high school students from the Roaring Fork Valley to develop their unique artistic voices through hands-on studio projects, visits with working artists, gallery and museum tours, critical discussion, creative analysis, and reflection. This year’s theme, Fiber & Textiles, explores sewing, upcycling, upholstery, and more through exciting collaborations with CMC Aspen and professional artists.
Students will join this program as a cohort, fostering camaraderie and dialogue amongst participants. All teens seeking more exposure to art or an opportunity to grow their practice are encouraged to apply!
The Dynamic Arts program will be divided into two sessions—fall and spring. Each session will consist of approximately twelve sessions. Students in either session are encouraged to participate in at least 80% of the scheduled events in their session. Transportation cost assistance available!
This program is open to all high school students from the Roaring Fork Valley, including Aspen, Snowmass Village, Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs.
Scholarship Opportunity
We are offering scholarships of $1,000 for teens with a high level of participation in the program. Scholarships may be used for tuition, travel, or other activities related to their future goals.
