The Aspen Art Museum is pleased to offer its third iteration of Teaching Artists, an initiative that establishes dialogue between artists and educators in the Roaring Fork Valley. This program invites artists to expand their practice through an educational framework and connects them with visiting artist-educators from throughout the country. Teaching Artists offers participants professional experience via curriculum development, analysis, skill-sharing, and critical discussion surrounding arts education. Participants also have paid opportunities to design and implement curriculum together with the Aspen Art Museum and participating local arts organizations.
Artists, art educators, classroom teachers, and the education-curious are welcome to register. Sessions begin February 5, 2026, and occur on the following Thursdays from 6–8 PM at the Education Workshop in the Aspen Art Museum, unless otherwise noted.
Participants are encouraged to attend at least 50% of the events in the series. Dinner and transportation reimbursement provided.
