Serenity Arts: Sand Mandala Construction

Come experience the creation of our sacred sand mandala on the Rooftop of the Aspen Art Museum! We invite you to visit from September 9 to September 13 to witness the monks from the esteemed Gaden Shartse Monastery as they meticulously construct this intricate work of art. Join us on the rooftop during the hours listed below for this unique opportunity to observe the meditative process and learn more about the traditions of the Gaden Shartse Monastery during their residency in Aspen. 

• Thursday, September 10, 12–6 PM
• Friday, September 11, 12–6 PM
• Saturday, September 12, 12–6 PM
• Sunday, September 13, 12–3 PM

Serenity Arts is presented by the Aspen Art Museum in collaboration with Aspen Tibet and is dedicated to cultivating community through a diverse range of programs and events.
