Set amongst Alex Israel’s vivid paintings of celebrities who have passed since the invention of Instagram, Dean Weiler of Aspen Walking Tours will share stories from Aspen’s past of spirits from the other side, including tales from Ruthie’s Cabin. With Aspen’s rich history and mysterious legends, his storytelling will bring to life the otherworldly encounters and unexplained events that have taken place in the area.
This event is part of Alex Israel: Heaven on Aspen Mountain, the once-in-a-lifetime exhibition by Los Angeles–based artist Alex Israel. Please note the exhibition and its events are located at Ruthie’s on Aspen Mountain, which is exclusively accessible via ski-in, ski-out terrain designed for intermediate-level skiers and snowboarders. Skiers and riders can access Ruthie’s via the Silver Queen Gondola or Lift 1A. A valid lift ticket is required for entry.
